The Home Office introduced changes to the UK Visa points-based system on the 1st of December 2020, prior to the end of the Brexit transition period on the 31st of December 2020.
Eligibility of such visas is wholly reliant on passing a points-based assessment. You must reach a points score above a minimum threshold if your application is to be successful. The minimum number of points required varies for each UK visa category
